Description
My Princess Celestia cosplay at Anime North 2012 at the Toronto Congress Center!
This took a bit of time since I had to be creative with it. The wig and gloves I bought, the wings I had bought, but I hated them so I tore most of the feathers off and shaped it a lot nicer then added them again.
Horn was made out of styrofoam, the crown was wire and craft foam, painted gold with a painted purple gem and hot glue for the designs. All the pieces of the dress were bought as plain fabric and made into a dress, along with the belt and neck piece, and the bow and trim at the back.
It was definitely a success! I couldn't go anywhere without someone stopping me for a picture, and trying to go into the con and dealer's room to buy things was not possible, one because people constantly walked into the wings (no one knows what personal space is, or that a prop may be fragile) and that I would be stopped all the time.
I saw some other amazing cosplayers in the My Little Pony fandom! There were a few photoshoots, and they were all a blast!
