"Hey there, lover boy." Marluxia said as he sat at the breakfast table, next to Demyx. It was early morning, and most members were still in bed. Demyx had gone to bed early the night before, and Marluxia woke up to water his flowers, then come for some breakfast.

Demyx coughed slightly on his breakfast waffles. "E-excuse me?"

Marluxia smirked as he reached over and grabbed a piece of waffle off of the Nocturne's plate. "Oh, you know what I'm talking about."

"N-no... I'm confused. What do I know?" Demyx asked, taking a sip of his drink.

"Oh, you know..." The Assassin teased. "You, and Xigbar, last night--"

Demyx choked on his breakfast once again, and began to cough, with his face growing a deep red. "What!? N-no! That's not what happened!"

Marluxia looked away, with a smile on his face. "Okay, you keep telling yourself that--"

"Marly!?" Demyx yelled. Luckily, they were the only ones in the kitchen, so he didn't cause a commotion. "I swear! All I did was walk him to his room!"

"And drool over his gorgeous body?" Marluxia teased further, as he took another bite from the Nocturne's waffles.

There was a pause between the two, and Demyx's face grew a deeper red.

"W-well... yeah. But what's wrong with that?"

"Oh, nothing." Marluxia said, still smiling. "I just wanted to make sure that you know that I know that you like Xigbar."

Demyx processed the sentence through his mind, then blinked. "Well, yeah. I know that you know. I told you that I liked him!"

The smile left Marly's face, and he paused. "You did?"

Demyx rolled his eyes. "Uh, yeah! I told you two days ago! I said that I wanted to help Maxis with Xigbar's night, so I could get closer to him!"

Marluxia paused, then grabbed another piece of waffle. "Oh... right. Well, I just wanted to make sure!"

Demyx sighed as he took another sip from his drink.

"Oh, by the way," Marluxia said, swallowing what was in his mouth. "I told Maxis too."

Demyx set the drink down and looked down at his plate. "Oh okay, that's fine. I was going to tell her any ways." He watched as his older friend grabbed one of his last pieces of waffle, and put it in his mouth, not paying much attention to Demyx.

"Ah, excuse me?" Demyx said sarcastically, as Marluxia ate his final piece.

Marluxia looked up, and stopped chewing. "Hmm?"

"That's my breakfast!"

The Assassin covered his mouth, and took his final chew, before swallowing. "It was taunting me, I had to take a bite."

"And eat the whole thing, as well." Demyx sighed.

"Pretty much." Marluxia said, standing up from the table to go to his garden. "Oh, by the way," Marluxia teased. "those waffles were really good, all full of butter and syrup."

Demyx just sighed.

"Good morning, Maxi." Larxene greeted. It was now closer to noon, and Maxis had just woken up. The girl walked into the kitchen, to be greeted by Larxene and Lexaeus, who were sitting at the table, eating their lunch.

"'Morning. Where is everyone?" Maxis asked. "There's always so many people in here around lunch time."

"Not sure," Larxene commented. "I think there's some marathon on TV, or something. Who knows."

"Ah..." Maxis walked over to the fridge and pulled out a few slices of bread. The young girl placed the bread in the slots of the toaster, then pulled out different toppings to put on her toast.

Suddenly, more voices could be heard in the room, as Saix and Luxord walked into the kitchen, and sat at the other end of the table, from Larxene and Lexaeus. Maxis watched as the two whispered to each other. She couldn't make out anything that they were saying, but she could see that the two were rather enjoying the conversation that they were having.

Maxis walked over to the Savage Nymph and the Silent Hero, and nudged them silently. The two looked up at the blue tipped girl, and asked what was up.

"Look over there, at Saix and Luxord." Maxis whispered.

"Yeah, we see them." Larxene said. "What about it?"

Maxis watched them a moment longer, and saw that Luxord got up to pour himself a cup of coffee, as Saix just sat and waited for him to return. "Don't they look... I dunno, happy? Not happy, but like, enjoying each other's company?"

Lexaeus examined the two, as Luxord returned to the table, and continued his conversation with Saix. "Yes... I guess you could say they are... But why are you so concerned?"

Maxis glanced at the Gambler and Luna, then sighed. "I... I'm not really sure... It just seems, weird..."

Larxene patted the younger girl's head. "A lot of things seem weird to you, don't they?" She mocked, with a smile. Maxis glared at the other girl, then went to get her breakfast from the fridge.

~~~
The day passed by, the same way that the past few weeks had gone by: Long, and boring. Maxis was already in Marluxia's indoor garden, when Demyx arrived for the third day.
"So Max," Marluxia started, holding up the next card in his hands. "Are you enjoying this dare?"
Maxis shrugged. "Yeah, it's okay. I'm sure I'll come to hate it by the end of this week though."
Demyx smiled lightly. "Maybe, but it'll be worth it all in the end."
Maxis rolled her eyes, still amazed that she hadn't chickened out yet. "Well, what's tonight's dare?"
Marluxia handed the girl her card, and she took it willingly. Maxis scanned it over quickly, then sighed, unimpressed.
"You know, this card just screams suicide on it..." She said, holding up the card.
Marluxia waved his hand, ignoring her statement. "Nonsense! Xaldin won't kill you!"
"Dude, the card reads Threaten him. Already that says that I'm in deep shit."
"It could be worse," Demyx said, bluntly. "The card could say to threaten Saix, instead of Xaldin."
There was a pause between the three. Maxis looked up at Marluxia, then the two looked over at the Nocturne.
"You know, he's got a point..." Marluxia said, faintly.
"A very good point." Maxis answered, walking over to the Assassin's work bench, and looking for a certain tool. "You know, now that I think about it, this gives me a good idea."
Marluxia glared lightly over at the girl. "And what exactly are you doing with my stuff?"
Maxis opened a drawer, and began searching through it. "Oh, nothing. Just looking for something threaten Xaldin wi-- Ah! Here it is!" Maxis moved a couple tools around, and pulled out a pair of sharp, fancy sheers from the drawer.
Maxis' 3rd task: Threaten Xaldin.
Now it cuts like a knife,
But it feels so right~
Uh-oh~
What's Maxi gonna do with those scissors?~
*Is shot for being lame*
The next chapter should be kinda obvious with what happens between Xaldin and Maxis.
Anyways, I know that I'm slow with updates, and I appologize for it. The next couple chapters I'll be looking forward to writing. Why? Well, you'll have to find out.
Maxis belongs to Me, everyone else belongs to Squeenix.
